Attention Indian Nationals!

Government of India has fast-tracked the process of Police Clearance Certificate for Indian nationals with valid visa in Israel, provided the formalities were duly completed during issuance of passport in India. The requirements are: information in prescribed form and copy of (first & last pages) current Indian passport. The original passport must be brought by the applicant to the Mission along with the application form.

Power of Attorney Attestation for Indian and Israeli Nationals

1. The following need to be submitted at the Embassy:

a. Original and photocopy of the Power of Attorney (POA) document to be attested. The POA document should be printed on an Indian stamp paper, in case of Indian nationals.

b. Original and photocopy of the first, last and valid visa page of the Indian passport for Indian applicants. Original and photocopy of the Israeli identity card for Israeli applicants.

c. Embassy of India, Tel Aviv is not authorized to verify signature of foreign nationals (other than Indian). So, Israeli nationals need to submit the documents, attested by a Public Notary.

d. NIS 88 in cash.

2. The document should be signed by the applicant (Indian national) in front of the officer attesting the document and original shall be returned.


Attestation of Commercial Documents for Israeli Nationals

1. The following need to be submitted at the Embassy:

a. Original and photocopy of the commercial document attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Israel or apostilled.

b. Original and photocopy of the Israeli identity card.

c. NIS 208 in cash.

2. The document should be signed by the applicant in front of the officer attesting the document and originals shall be returned.


Signature and Photocopy Attestation

1. The following need to be submitted at the Embassy:

a. Original and photocopy of the document that needs to be attested.

b. Original and photocopy of first, last and valid visa page of the Indian passport.

c. NIS 48 in cash.

2. Originals shall be returned.


Attestation of Indian Documents

1.The following need to be submitted at the Embassy:

a. Original and photocopy of the Indian document that needs to be attested. If the original cannot be produced, then a photocopy of the document, attested by a Public Notary shall please be produced in lieu of the original.

b. Original and photocopy of first, last and valid visa page of the Indian passport.

c. NIS 48 in cash.

2. Originals shall be returned. 


Attestation of Israeli Documents

1. The following need to be submitted at the Embassy:

a. Original and photocopy of the document, attested by a Public Notary.

b. Original and photocopy of Israeli identity card/passport.

c. NIS 48 in cash.

2. Originals shall be returned


Attestation of Salary Certificate

The following need to be submitted at the Embassy:

a. Bank statement to prove the amount of salary received, if the entire salary is directly credited to the bank.

b. If a part of the salary is received in cash, then a letter from the employment agency, on their letter head stating the salary drawn and attested by a Notary Public.

c. Photocopy of first, last and valid visa page of the Indian passport and original passport for verification.

d. NIS 48 in cash.


Other Services


Life Certificate to Pensioners

1. A certificate stating that the applicant is alive on the date of issue of the certificate shall be issued to pensioners drawing their pension in India. This a free service which could be availed, upon the submission of the following at the Embassy:

a. Covering letter, explaining clearly the details of the pension account and the need for a life certificate.

b. Original and photocopy of the Israeli identity card/Passport.

2. The applicant should physically present oneself in front of the officer who shall be issuing the Life Certificate.


Birth/Death Registration

1. Documents related to the death of an Indian national in Israel, shall reach the Embassy directly, through the Israeli authorities and all the related documents shall be sent along with the mortal remains, to India.

2. For registering the birth of a child to Indian parents, the following needs to be submitted in the Embassy:

a. Original and photocopy of the Birth certificate of the child issued by the Ministry of Interior, Israel.

b. Original and photocopy of the first, last and valid visa page of the passport of both, father and mother.

c. In case of divorce of parents of the child, the Court Custody papers, attested by the Public Notary.

d. If marriage certificate is not available, join affidavit from biological parents, attested by a Public Notary.

e. In case of a single parent, declaration of the parent shall be attested by a Public Notary.

f. NIS 88 in cash.

3. All originals shall be returned.


Marriage Registration

1. If either/both the bride or the bridegroom, intending to get married is/are an Indian national(s), the marriage could be registered in the Indian Embassy subject to the fulfillment of the following:

a. Production of original newspaper advertisement of the declaration of the marriage in an Israeli newspaper, local newspaper of permanent residence of both the bride and the groom. If either the bride or the groom is not an Indian national, then an advertisement in the local newspaper of the country of permanent residence of the non-Indian shall also be produced.

b. Original and photocopy of the valid visa page and personal particulars page of the passports of the bride and the groom.

c. Original and photocopy of valid visa page and personal particulars page of four witnesses.

d. Payment of NIS 208 in cash.

3. Original passports shall be returned after verification.


Issue of Police Clearance Certificate

1. Indian nationals, requiring a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from India, for purposes in Israel, should submit the following:

a. Original and photocopy of first, last and valid visa page of the Indian passport. Original is for verification and shall be returned.

b. Payment of NIS 88 in cash.

2. The certificate will be obtained either on the basis of our records or through a reference to the police station in area of the applicant's permanent residence.
