The Second Indian Jewish National Convention was held in Yeruham on 14 October, 2014. The mega event gave a taste of India to a gathering of almost 3500 people from various parts of Israel. Audience enjoyed Indian cultural performances, tasted Indian food, tried Indian dresses in addition to experiencing a memorable dance experience by Panghat: a troupe that entertained the crowd with various  forms of Indian folk dances.


The Chief Guest of the five hour long event, Ambassador Jaideep Sarkar hailed the Indian Jewish community as the "living bridge" between India and Israel. The Mayor of Yeruham municipality also graced the event. The event was organized by the Indian Jewish Community in collaboration with the Indian Embassy and Yeruham municipality, with the support of various sponsors like Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, State Bank of India, Tel Aviv, Moneygram etc.
